The project was done in several phases over a period of 8 months with each module of the project interfaced into the others. Mr. Thanapat Pupat, partner at ILCT said “we were impressed that Cyberworks took the time to understand our business and our requirements. The new system provides all associate lawyers ,partners and general staff in the firm important information in a convenient and centralised location. Importantly was the need for the system to manage and file the masses of electronic documents in the firm. This was achieved according to Narin Limsamphancharoen Cyberworks Consulting Client Services Director by “developing an add-in function to Microsoft Word, enabling lawyers to save Word documents to the document database on the server. When saving the document all necessary properties are specified to allow all staff in the organization to use a convenient search function to locate the appropriate document. We used Microsoft technologies exclusively on this project, as it provided the most flexibility and ease of interface between the various modules, and office products.”

The management and tracking of Intellectual Property (IP) registrations for local and International clients is an important and potentially time-consuming task. The solution defined and developed by Cyberworks is a universal application that manages the complete IP database for ILCT. As well as keeping obvious information relating to every trademark, copyright, patent etc of each client, the system also has a reminder function to ensure all IP is renewed prior to expiration. Additionally, the application records any invoice details due from associate law firms that use ILCT services for international based clients with Thai IP properties.This allows ILCT staff to track the status of each invoice placed to the clients.

For several years the ILCT website was a simply designed web page with text on it. Cyberworks suggested that the site be updated to reflect the current image and industry reputation of the company and developed a modern looking site for them that brings them into the new millennium in style.
